Do you plan your Bali Diving trip soon?

Scuba Diving is one of the most favorite sports that can make you feel confident underwater and also challenging for beginners. Do you plan your Bali Diving trip soon? And you wonder how to scuba dive and what to prepare?

Firstly, not everyone can scuba dive, because they are required to get a license first to become a certified diver and dive independently. However, if you haven't got a license but still want to dive, you can also be accompanied by a professional diver to experience it just for fun in a safety procedure and environment with a program called “Try Scuba Diving.”

Aren't you curious about what you should prepare and what’s in your bag for a scuba diving trip?

Let’s check it below!

What scuba diving equipment should be used when you go diving?

-Mask

To create a pocket of air between the diver's eyes and the water, allowing the diver to see well underwater. Keep water out of your nose and eyes.

-Regulator

To reduce the pressure of the breathing gas supply and deliver it to the diver at approximately ambient pressure.

-Wetsuit

To cover your body from stings and sharp objects underwater, and to keep you warm.

-BCD

The devices that allow a scuba diver to control their buoyancy during a dive.To determine the proper function of the inflator and exhaust valves, inflate and deflate the BCD both orally and with the power inflator.

-Weight Belt

To adjust your buoyancy. There are specific guidelines to help divers determine the weight of the belt in relation to their body weight.

-Boots

This tool is required for use, especially in rocky areas, to reduce leg cramps caused by cold or foot blisters. Boots must also fit properly on the feet in order for diving activities to continue safely.

-Fins

To provide strength to the legs as propulsion. These fins are not designed to increase speed, but rather to increase leg pedalling power.

-Dive Computer

To display air pressure, water depth, and temperature. This tool indicates how long a rescuer can remain in the air.

-Compass

To see the direction of the wind even in underwater conditions.

The other personal stuff to bring along beside the equipment is a

  • Swimsuit or swimming pants,

  • dry clothes,

  • shirts/shorts,

  • sunscreen / towels

  • and a camera to take the best memory underwater.
