Open water diver course is learning about scuba diving principles, before going to the ocean you will practicing basic scuba skills in a pool with a PADI Instructor in Bali (or pool-like environment). What is a PADI Open Water Referral ?

With a PADI Open water referral, you can complete any majority of scuba training at home such as the pool and the academic session in your home country. Finally, you can complete your certification by another four dives in Bali. It means you can support a local dive shop and also avoid studying during your vacation. You can finish all of the classroom theory ahead of time, and then you can enjoy the underwater of Bali while on vacation.

There are three stages to becoming a certified diver.

• Stage one is about gaining knowledge.This is the theory of the PADI Open Water Course, So you can choose to learn in the classroom or at your own pace from home or wherever you are with PADI e-Learning.

• Stage two is confined water. This is your first opportunity to go underwater! You'll practice using scuba equipment in the pool until you're comfortable. You'll learn the fundamentals of scuba diving in a progressive order during the confined water sessions, with each skill building on the one before it.

With PADI Open Water Diver you can dive with a buddy but without an Instructor or other scuba diving professional.
